Thought of the day: Have you ever been accused of being addicted to reading books?
I play World of Warcraft. This is not me admiting to anything. I play a game and OH SHIT RIGHT, THE WORLD MIGHT END!!!
No.
People that are so quick to blame other things, be it games or books, usually do it to cover their own shortcomings.
I have never gotten into trouble because I read... Alot. Back in the 8th grade I could read 360 words a minute with 100% understanding. Somehow, that wasn't a problem.
But then, if I spend 360 minutes on a game, I'm addicted.
Wow, how does that work?

ReplyDeleteIt's silly, really. Apparently, enjoying an interactive (and occasionally social) game is a far worse thing to do than wasting your life in front of the telly watching soap operas. Because online games are the end of the world as we know it. (Sigh, a girl can dream, can't she?)
